Troop 9 E-mail
E-mail - Besides making regular announcements at the meetings, Troop 9 has it's own e-mail list. Announcements and reminders are sent via e-mail on a regular basis.
This is a "moderated" list, and so you won't receive any SPAM from Troop 9.
To Join the Troop 9 E-mail List:
- Enter your e-mail address and click on the button:
- Sign on to your e-mail account.
- Find the e-mail from Yahoo! Groups, and click on reply and send.
To send an announcement to everyone at Troop 9:
Send an e-mail to:
troop9bsa@yahoogroups.com.
Important Notes:
When you sign up, you don't have to create a Yahoo! account. You can simply reply to the e-mail.
If you don't create a Yahoo! Account, you will have the default delivery option. For every e-mail sent to the list, you will receive a copy of that e-mail.
We have been using Yahoo! Groups for several years now and it is SPAM free. Yahoo! offers this service for free. They make their money by tacking on a little bit of advertising to each message posted to the e-mail list.
If you have SPAM filters set up make sure you "allow" e-mail that has a to address of
"troop9bsa@yahoogroups.com".
